Aquaforest - Reef Salt bag 25Kg

Fully synthetic sea salt intended for coral and marine fish farming. The composition of the salt has been selected to create the best conditions most similar to natural ones. The micro and macro elements contained in it fully satisfy the needs of corals for elements necessary for their adequate development and colouring. The salt does not contain bromides, and can be used in filter systems with the aid of ozone. When setting up new marine aquariums, before inserting the first animals, we invite you to wait 10-14 days from filling the aquarium.

Method of preparation: dissolve the salt in the prepared demineralised water. The water temperature should be around 24°C (75°F). To obtain a salinity of 33 ppt, approximately 3.8 kg (8.4 lbs) must be dissolved in 100 liters (27 US gal.) of water. Aquaforest recommends keeping salinity between 33 to 35 ppt. Vigorously mix the solution for about 15 minutes. After complete dissolution and full clarity, the salted water is ready for use. Store salt in a dry, dark place. The dissolved salt must be used over the next 48 hours. Keep out of the reach of children. For use in the aquarium only. Not intended for human consumption.
