EdgeField optics

Optics are one of the most important components of an advanced lighting system. The Edgefield™ technology incorporated into the Blade offers uniform PAR output, smooth color mixing and exceptional diffusion.
The Edgefield optic, designed exclusively for the Blade, offers an incredible 95-degree spread, resulting in unmatched light mixing along the entire length of the lamp. The specular outlet surface offers a natural and intense brightness to the aquarium.

Aquarium stand included

The Low Profile Tank Rest is included for Blades up to 39” in size. The stand extends up to 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) on either side of the lamp (for a total of 9 inches - 22.8 cm).

Mounting clips are included for Blades larger than 39 inches. These clips are compatible with HMS Single-Arm AI Rails and HMS Hanging Kit. Different application? No problem, Blade has many other mounting options available or use the clips with your own custom mount.

Waterproof

Blade is not only versatile, but it is also built to last in the harsh environment of marine aquariums. Blade meets IP66 standards, which indicate maximum protection against dust and

a high level of protection from water.

Build your solution

Blade Coral Grow is designed for maximum PAR efficiency and Blade Coral Glow for maximum fluorescence. By mixing them together, you get the best of both. Maximum performance is achieved with a 2:1 grow to glow ratio, but one of each is perfectly acceptable when less light is needed.

The beauty of Blade is its versatility. Used alone, Blade Coral Grow is an excellent source of calibrated light for the marine aquarium. Attractive and powerful, an adjustable yet simple spectrum ensures optimal coral growth. Edgefield optics deliver well-blended colors and super even diffusion.

You already have some great lights, but want to fill in some gaps or create a fluorescent effect? Blade is the solution for you. Easily used with existing Radion or Hydra fixtures and so easily positioned that they can be used with many other lamps.

Silent operation

Blade features a highly efficient heat sink. Passive cooling means no fan, no air movement and no noise. This makes Blade ideal for aquarium lighting in living spaces where noise reduction is a big plus.

Integrated and simple control system

All AI devices include a standard smart control system. Use the myAI® or Mobius® app on any iOS or Android device to easily set up or program your AI equipment.
